Telangana Government Schemes
Telangana government has launched several welfare schemes and initiatives to improve the lives of its people and achieve its vision of a “Golden Telangana”. Some of the major schemes are:
Dalit Bandhu Scheme:
This scheme provides an one-time grant of Rs. 10,00,000/- to the beneficiaries from the Dalit community, who are among the most marginalized and oppressed groups in India. The scheme aims to empower them with financial security and hope for a better future.
Rythu Bandhu Scheme:
This scheme provides investment support of Rs. 5,000 per acre per season to the farmers for purchasing inputs like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc. The scheme is intended to enhance agricultural productivity and income, and reduce rural indebtedness.
Kanti Velugu Scheme:
This scheme is a comprehensive and universal eye screening program for the entire population of the state. The scheme provides free eye check-ups, spectacles, medicines, and surgeries to prevent and treat avoidable blindness.
Dharani Portal:
This portal is an integrated land records management system that combines land administration and registration services. The portal serves as a single source of truth for all land parcels and enables online transactions of land with transparency and security.
T-Fiber Project:
This project aims to create a scalable, robust, resilient, secure and long-lasting digital infrastructure to deliver various services, applications, and content from government and service providers. The project provides affordable and reliable high-speed broadband connectivity to every household, government and private institution in Telangana.
